About Us
Your pets’ health and wellbeing are very important to us.
Since 2004 we have years of experience either treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care.
We make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and calm, so your pet can relax in the waiting room.
If you live in Lisbon or surrounding area and need a trusted veterinarian to care for your pets – don’t worry, you already found.
Since 2004, Restelo Vet has been caring for pets in Lisbon with experience, dedication, and a genuine love for animals. Our English-speaking team is here to make veterinary care accessible and stress-free for expat families living in Lisbon and the surrounding area.
General Consultations
Whether your pet needs a routine check-up or is showing signs of illness, our vets will examine your animal thoroughly and explain everything clearly in English. We offer appointments for dogs, cats, and small animals.
Vaccinations
We provide complete vaccination programmes for dogs and cats, including core vaccines and optional boosters based on your pet’s lifestyle. We also issue official EU pet passports for pets travelling internationally.
Surgery
Our clinic is equipped for routine procedures such as neutering and spaying, as well as more complex soft tissue surgeries. All procedures are performed under anaesthesia with continuous monitoring throughout.
Diagnostic Imaging — X-Ray & Ultrasound
We have in-house digital X-ray and ultrasound equipment for fast, accurate diagnosis. Results are discussed with you on the same day, without the need for external referrals.
Dental Care
Dental disease is one of the most common health problems in cats and dogs. We offer professional dental scaling, polishing, and extractions under general anaesthesia, as well as regular dental check-ups during wellness consultations.
Laboratory & Blood Tests
Our in-house laboratory runs blood panels, urine analysis, and other diagnostic tests with fast results — essential for emergencies and for monitoring chronic conditions.
Microchipping
Microchipping is a legal requirement in Portugal for dogs and strongly recommended for cats. We perform microchip implantation during a routine consultation.
